Regulator
SPAN
Registered supplier. SIRIM-certified products for Malaysian sewerage works.
Operator
IWK
Built to IWK guidelines, with submission support.
Recognition
Platinum
Excellent Supplier of Septic Tank, LICTA.
Since 1983
Four decades of FRP and PE manufacturing. Golden Bull Award 2004, ISO 9001:2008.
Made in-house
Rotomoulding and fiberglass lamination under our own quality control. No outsourced shells.
One supplier
Tanks, diffusers, covers and submission documents come from the same place.
Track record
Zero structural failures
No leakage or structural failure complaints since SIRIM approval.
Built to last
15–20+ year design life
Composite construction, on top of the standard 5-year manufacturer warranty.
Selection
Start with the population equivalent.
PE decides the system. Once you know it, you know the material, the depth, and whether it needs power.
6 – 18 PE
PE Bio-Filter Septic Tank
Low to medium risk domestic sewage. Housing and small commercial.
Passive gravity flow
8 – 30 PE
FRP Bio-Filter Septic Tank
Deep burial and high water table. Stronger shell, same passive flow.
Passive gravity flow
40 – 150 PE
MST / Small Sewage Treatment System
Small developments under 150 PE. Rental available.
Active aeration
Overlap is deliberate. Between 8 and 18 PE, PE and FRP handle the same load. Pick FRP if the site has a high water table or needs deep burial.
The unit
1 PE
60g BOD₅/person/day · 200 L/day. The Malaysian design standard for every system on this page.
Residential
5 PE
Per typical house. A 20-unit terrace scheme starts at 100 PE.
Factory floor
0.3 PE
Per worker.
Office GFA
0.03 PE
Per m² of gross floor area.
Worked example: 100 factory workers (30 PE) + 500 m² office (15 PE) = 45 PE → routes to MST, since it's over the 30 PE Bio-Filter ceiling.
PE Bio-Filter Septic Tank · 6–18 PE
One piece of LLDPE, with nothing mechanical inside.
Material
Rotomoulded LLDPE
A seamless shell. Nothing to corrode, nothing to line.
Flow
Passive gravity
Settle, then filter, then discharge. No pump, no blower.
Power
None
No electrical connection, no running cost, nothing to trip.
Orientation
Vertical or horizontal
Whichever fits the site you're actually digging.

Every dimension is from your own product brochures: PE Bio-Filter, FRP Bio-Filter and MST datasheets. One data block at the top of the file drives every table and card in the deck, so one edit updates all of them.
Scope
What we send, and what your contractor still has to do.
The question a contractor actually asks on a tender. Answered on one slide.
In our supply
- Tanks, primary and aeration, to the PE rating
- Air diffuser, built into the tank
- Transfer pipe, VCP pipe and inspection chamber, combined into the unit so there's no extra piping work on site
- SIRIM certificate and product documentation
- IWK submission support, as a service
Contractor scope
- Civil and structural: base slab, concrete plinth foundation, screen and distribution chambers
- Air blowers (1 duty, 1 standby) and control panel, mechanical and electrical connection
- Excavation, shoring and backfill
- Fencing and site works
- CCTV inspection with the IWK officer
Turnaround
Single-day installation
Under standard site conditions.
Why it matters
Less for the contractor to quote
The piping is built into the tank, so it's one less item on the contractor's own quote. It's also where the 20–30% space saving comes from.
Approval
From order to Surat Sokongan.
The sequence every job runs through. We can submit on your behalf, 40 to 140 PE.
01
Design and sizing
PE calculation, layout and invert levels agreed against the development proposal.
